Have you ever wanted to blog, but felt like you didn’t know where to start? In this blog post, we will cover 7 steps that will help create blog posts on your WordPress blog like a pro. This blog post is for anyone who wants to learn how to blog and would like some guidance from the get-go. If you are looking for information about how to write a blog post or tips on starting a DIY blog, then stay tuned!

How to Start a Successful DIY Blog in Seven Steps:

-create blog post title by either brainstorming ideas or looking at what’s trending online and picking one that interests you

-come up with a few different ideas for your blog post

-write the introduction and first paragraph of your content for your blog post

-create the content by either using bullet points or writing paragraphs and sentences that are actionable

-revise and edit before publishing so there are no typos, grammatical errors in text/images included with your content. It’s also a good idea to include links to other articles/blog posts that you found interesting in your own

-publish on WordPress site once completed and finalized. It’s best not to publish before because there is no going back if anything isn’t right!

-promote the
blog post on social media, through email list so people know it

The first step is to create a blog post title. You can do this by either brainstorming for ideas, or looking at what’s trending online and picking something that you find interesting. For example, if you are interested in how to start a successful DIY blog, then your headline could be “How To Start A Successful DIY Blog.”

The next step is to come up with a few different ideas for the blog post. You can do this by brainstorming, or use a tool like Google Trends that will show you what people are searching for most often on Google at any given time. For example, if someone was looking for information about how to start a DIY blog and they do a Google search, they might find your blog post because you had that idea in mind.

The third step is to write the introduction and first paragraph of the content for your blog post. The intro should set expectations for what readers are about to read-in other words, it should tell them what this particular blog post will be talking about.

The fourth step is to create the content for your blog post. You can do this by either using bullet points or writing paragraphs and sentences. The long-form will work best if you are trying to provide actionable information that people can use on their own blogs, as a tutorial of some kind. If it’s more narrative in nature then bullet points might be better.

The fifth step is to revise and edit the content of your blog post so it’s as good as possible before you publish it-in other words, make sure there are no typos or grammatical errors in either the text or any images included with your post. It’s also a good idea to include links to other articles or blog posts that you found interesting in your own.

The sixth step is to publish the post on your WordPress site once it’s finished and finalized-in other words, make sure all of the steps are complete before publishing because there will be no going back if something isn’t right!

The seventh step is to promote your blog post on social media and through your email list so that people know you’ve posted something new.
